NINA PANDOLFO

Born in 1977 in São Paulo, Brazil and one of the pioneers in Brazil´s graffiti scene, Nina has been developing her work in Brazil and in many other countries around the world since 1992.

Nina works with several materials such as canvas, cloth, resin, and wood. The subject of her work is nature, giving importance to small insects and recognising the beauty in all animals. Her characters often have large eyes which express secret feelings that mirror the soul.

She explores and confronts issues of children and adults and their relationships with each other. She believes that children are more sensitive to conflict and kindness and therefore can pick up on small yet vital details in life which adults have unlearned how to do. Her concepts and inspiration combined, result in colorful and thought provoking images, which often portray serious subject matter, but in a childlike, fun and innocent way.
