NUNCA

Born in 1983 Nunca meaning ‘never’ in Portuguese, is now one of the rising stars of the Sao Paulo Graffiti scene, and his latest work is highly influenced by the geometric patterns and colours found in the indigenous artwork and culture of South America. He often portrays images of the native rural people of South America, within the urban context of Sao Paulo, creating visual and cultural contrasts that comment on the history of his nation. As well as using the dynamic’s of the city to express himself he also does carvings, installations, sculptures and works on canvases.
