Sambayabamba to Play at Kelburn

SAMBAYABAMBA play at Kelburn Country Centre on Sunday the 20th May from 12 noon, in celebration of the Graffiti Project.

Parades and performances will take place throughout the day giving Kelburn a carnivalesque quality.

Samba Ya Bamba, based in Glasgow, are a dynamic and innovative 25 piece performing group. The groups repertoire of Brazilian percussion covers a variety of styles from Rio style Samba Batucada, Samba Reggae and Maracatu, through to contemporary interpretations with influences of Drum 'n' Bass, Hip Hop and Bhangra. The band continues to evolve, developing new ideas with original material and a unique style, packed with energy that leaves audiences in no doubt that they have experienced something incredibly special.
